What types of dispatch mechanisms/workflows are available in JOYN FSM?
Below are the most common different types of workflows that can be setup in JOYN FSM. This may not be a complete list so if you don’t see something you are looking for, please reach out to your customer success manager.
1. Within the company, a user can dispatch a task to someone in the field.
2. A user in the field can dispatch a task to another user in the field.
A web user in the company can dispatch a task to a vendor side dispatcher via email who can then dispatch it to a vendor employee in the field.
A field user in the company can also start the same flow as in #3 above.
A company user can dispatch directly to a vendor side dispatcher or directly assign a task to a vendor employee working in the field that the vendor dispatcher can also view.
A field user in the company dispatch a task to a vendor side dispatcher who can then assign the task to a vendor employee in the field.
A company dispatcher can dispatch the task to the vendor side dispatcher to dispatch to the vendor employee OR he can dispatch it directly to the vendor employee via the JOYN mobile app that the vendor employee in the field has access to. The vendor side dispatcher would still be able to view this on the web to be on the same page as the company dispatcher.
A company field employee can also start the same workflow as in #7 above.
9. A data source can be configured to call an API to create and dispatch a task to the company dispatcher or to a company employee or team of employees in the field.
