How does the volume source upload work?

You can assign or clear and reassign volume sources using the upload template.

The following information is important to assign volume sources

• Daily/Monthly Allocation

• Network Group

• Network

• Effective Start Date

• Effective End Date

• product

• disposition

• Object type

• Object Name/ XID ( whichever the user wants to use to identify an object)

Additional Notes:

Prior to uploading/Assigning volume sources to a network version, ensure the allocation configs are already assigned to the network version.

You can only assign volume sources for those products and dispositions which are defined in the allocation config assigned to the network version.

In case of volume source uploads for a network which already has volume sources assigned, the new volume source assignment re-creates the volume source mapping. All the existing volume sources assigned to the disposition being reconfigured are unassigned and the new volume sources are assigned.
